School Safety Program
Each year, KARE staff goes to every elementary classroom in Haywood County, from kindergarten through fifth grade, to teach children about body safety. This age-specific program uses videos, discussion, and take home materials to help children understand the differences between safe, unsafe, and confusing touch and what to do in situations where they feel unsafe.
Trainings
We offer FREE trainings for our community that cover a variety of topics including preventing child sexual abuse, keeping children safe in online situations, protecting children against trafficking, and being an active bystander.
